Physical Appearance

  • Dank candy Caps: Start brownish-copper and mature into a rich caramel colour. Expand to 4 inches in diameter and feature a broad shape with a darker center.
  • Gills: Begin as lavender-gray and darken to purplish-brown as the mushroom ages.
  • Spores: Print a unique purplish-brown colour.
  • Stalks: Light yellow to white and tall and slim, with thickening towards the base. As the shroom matures, a partial veil breaks, leaving a slight ring around the stalk.
  • Size: Exceed 12 inches in height. Dank candy

Note: Psilocybe cubensis mushrooms, like the B+ strain, can easily be mistaken for poisonous mushrooms from the Galerina genus. To avoid this risk, always purchase your mushrooms from a reputable online dispensary.

Potency

B+ mushrooms offer a balanced psychedelic experience with moderate potency. The average potency measured 0.59% psilocybin and 0.11% psilocin, with a total tryptamine content of 0.73%.

Known for their uplifting effects, these strains are the “be positive” variety of dried shrooms. They make a popular choice for those seeking optimism and positivity.

🧬 Origins & Legacy

  • B+ was popularized in the early 2000s by a grower known as “Mr. G”—its precise origins remain murky, though some allege hybridization with P. azurescens—a claim that has never been scientifically confirmed.

  • Despite the unclear genesis, B+ remains one of the most widely cultivated P. cubensis strains worldwide.  ...........................................
